Terms of Service
These Terms govern your use of vineyardfence.com and any services offered through it. By using this site, you agree to these terms.
1. About This Site
This website is operated by Vineyard Fence Co., a fence installation company based on Martha's Vineyard, Massachusetts. The site provides information about our services, allows visitors to request quotes, and allows customers to review and sign service agreements electronically.
2. Use of This Site
You may use this site for lawful purposes only. You agree not to:
- Use the site in any way that violates applicable laws or regulations
- Submit false or misleading information through any form on the site
- Attempt to interfere with the site's operation or security
- Scrape, copy, or reproduce site content without our written permission
3. Service Agreements
Service agreements signed through this site are legally binding contracts between you and Vineyard Fence Co. By signing electronically, you confirm that you have read and understood the agreement terms, and that your electronic signature carries the same legal force as a handwritten signature under the Massachusetts Uniform Electronic Transactions Act (M.G.L. c. 110G) and the federal E-SIGN Act.
The terms of each project — scope of work, payment schedule, cancellation policy, and underground utility disclosures — are governed by the signed service agreement for that project, not by these Terms of Service.
Site access and preparation. Fence removal and demolition is a service we provide, but the property owner is responsible for providing a clear, safe, and accessible work area before the scheduled start. Where an existing fence is overgrown, entangled, or otherwise inaccessible, or the line contains poison ivy or poison sumac, clearing it — with a landscaper, brush-cutting service, or tree company, including removal and disposal of the vegetation — is the owner’s responsibility and is not part of our fencing services. We remove the fence, not vegetation grown into it, and we do not cut brush, separate growth from panels or mesh, or handle poison ivy or poison sumac. The specific site-preparation terms for your project are set out in your signed service agreement.
4. Accuracy of Information
We make reasonable efforts to keep site information accurate, but we do not guarantee its completeness or accuracy. Pricing, availability, and service details may change without notice. Contact us directly to confirm current information before making decisions based on site content.
5. Photographs and Illustrative Content
Some photographs and images on this website are used for illustrative purposes only and may not depict actual Vineyard Fence Co. projects, properties, or completed work. These images represent the types of fence styles and services we offer. Where images depict our actual completed work, they will be labeled accordingly. No representation is made that any photograph on this site shows a Vineyard Fence Co. project unless explicitly stated.

10. Business Transfer and Assignment
If Vineyard Fence Co. is sold, merged, or otherwise transfers ownership of all or part of its business or assets — including this website, domain name, and associated intellectual property — these Terms, all user data, and all rights and obligations under these Terms may be assigned or transferred to the successor entity without prior notice to you.
