A small crew that builds and repairs fences on Martha's Vineyard, where we also live.
How We Got Here
We learned the trade working on fence crews around Martha's Vineyard. Over the years that meant a lot of different fence types, a lot of different soil, and the rules in each town.
Now we run our own jobs. The crew is smaller, and when you get in touch you are talking to the people who will do the work.
We live here year-round, so we can get started when the weather allows, and we are still around if something needs a look after the install.

Local Soil Knowledge
Martha's Vineyard was shaped by the Laurentide Ice Sheet roughly 20,000 years ago, which left sandy outwash plains along the south shore and rocky moraine through Chilmark and the north side. That means sandy ground in Edgartown, ledge and boulders in Chilmark, and pockets of clay in between. We've set posts in all of it and know what each kind of ground needs for them to stay straight.
Code and Permit Familiarity
Each of the six towns on Martha's Vineyard has its own building department and its own rules, so before every job we check what yours requires.
Seasonal Scheduling
Summer on the Vineyard is busy for everyone. We plan around peak season, keep openings in the off-season, and fit the work to your timeline.
