About Us

Small crew, one island, and a simple idea: build good fences and let the work speak for itself.

White picket fence on Martha's Vineyard

How We Got Here

We learned the trade working on fence crews across Martha's Vineyard — years of hands-on experience with every fence type, every soil condition, and every town's requirements.

Now we're doing it on our own. Same skills, same standards, same island — just a smaller crew and a direct line to the people doing the work. We believe in honest work, direct communication, and doing the job right.

We live here year-round, so we're ready when the weather cooperates and available for follow-up after the install. No ferry headaches, no scrambling for a crew — just local people doing honest work.

What We've Learned

Working on the Vineyard teaches you things fast.

Salt Air Know-How

We've learned firsthand which products hold up in coastal conditions and which ones don't last.

Local Soil Knowledge

Martha's Vineyard was shaped by the Laurentide Ice Sheet roughly 20,000 years ago — leaving sandy outwash plains across the south shore and rocky glacial moraines through Chilmark and the north side. Sandy ground in Edgartown, ledge and boulders in Chilmark, clay in Oak Bluffs — we've worked in all of it and know what each soil type needs for posts to stay straight and solid.

Code and Permit Familiarity

Each town's building department on Martha's Vineyard has its own requirements. We're familiar with what's needed in all six towns and understand MA pool fence codes.

Seasonal Scheduling

Summer on the Vineyard is hectic for everyone. We plan around peak season, offer off-season availability, and work with your timeline — not against it.
